SAGES Fellow Dr. Bernie Jim has won the Outstanding Faculty Award for Student Development in this year’s Dr. Dorothy Pijan Student Leadership Awards.

This award is given to a faculty member who has made a significant contribution to undergraduate and graduate student life outside of their teaching and research responsibilities.

Nominations come from CWRU students, faculty and staff, then selected by committee. The Student Leadership Awards were set up in 1986, by Dr. Dorothy Pijan, and renamed in her honor after her death in 2003.
